Derivative practicing. I looked at poses in fashion magazines, and also looked at Cameron Stewart's sketchbook. Ended up with this, which looked so Black Widow, I might as well just go ahead and call her Natalia.
What a shamelessly juvenile drawing - a hot spy chick. Not sure what I've learned from the exercise. I guess at some point I'm meant to draw stuff like this without having to look at photo references.

Mug Shots #2 - 'Those with loaded guns, and those who dig.' The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Each Mug Shot is going to have a link to the previous one. So from Mad Max 2 to here. They're sort of trilogies, but sort of not. Three films linked by a central character (referred to on occasion as'The Man with No Name'), but with little to no continuity between them. Max and Blondie/Joe are chancers, alone, lawless but just on the right side of humanity to be heroes. That's to start you off. The next one I probably won't say what the link is.
Anyway. Stuff. I. Drew.

"I've nothing much to offer. There's nothing much to take."
This was always my Bowie. The dancing one. The one that was nearly the baddie in A View To A Kill. The one that used to be the boy in The Snowman. There's been a few Bowies on the BBC tonight. It's been ace.
"My hands are a little dirty."
Used photo references, and still managed to cock it up. But hey, I guess a car that's only two feet wide is good for getaways. Did the typeface by hand, so...y'know, smooches.
Oldies #1: Where it's at.
Gonna reprint some old stuff I don't hate. Here's Handsome Beck Hansen, from a year ago or whatever.

Mug Shots #1 - Mad Max 2
Needed a little warm-up project. So I drew these dull head-n'-shoulders of some dudes from Mad Max 2. Might make a habit of it. Might not.
Welcome to my new blog. 'kay. thanks. bye. xx
